Hi everyone. I just purchased the FapTurbo EA a few minutes ago and I though you might be interested in seeing it in action. First you should know that FapTurbo has two built-in strategies, one being a scalper strategy, and the other being an improved strategy based on that of its cousin EA called Forex Autopilot. Here are some screenshots of FapTurbo in action on my demo accounts:

FAPTs requires a subscription, so be aware that you are not purchasing this EA you are loaning it. You buy a licence that lasts 1 month. Be aware. They also do not say how much they will charge in the future, but reserve the right to charge what ever amount they wish. So be aware.
Read there “Terms and Conditions” and that is where you first find out that you have not paid for the EA, but paid for a 1-month subscription. What this may mean is that they are raising money by selling a licence to the product then raise the subscritpion price so that no one will be able to pay to use it. They will have their deposit to do their trading with but you’ll be left with an EA that’s useless within a month. I suggest reading their terms and conditions, just in case I am misunderstanding it myself.
I suggest that people start asking for their money back right now, because to me it sounds like an educated “scam”, as I have never had an EA with a limited time factor on it & not been told up front.

Josh I believe you are mistaken. You are not paying for a subscription, it’s just that you’ll have to download a new copy every month. It’s an anti-piracy measure. The thing that does suck is that you’ll be limited to 1 live account and 1 demo account.

guys, a week ago i purchased fapturbo. i’ve tried this EA on fxpro brokers. i started with $5000 demo account, on dec, 1, 2008.
today, dec, 9, 2008, i got 11 wins (consecutive wins!), 3 losses. total profit: $568. So, i have $5568 now in the demo account. i just trade 0.1 lot, and my NFP setting is on.
the support from fapturbo is good. they reply my email. they did support me. and i think this EA is awesome.
yes, indeed that at the beginning of the month, we must download the “newer” version of the EA. i dont know if there will be improvements, or perhaps just a kind of anti piracy thingy like admin said. but surely, it is free for all the members.

awaludin I think the monthly expiration is mainly a anti-piracy feature but it could also be used to “forcefully” upgrade and make sure everyone has the latest version…

sorry admin, i apologize for exposing their email. sorry again. yeah, i’ve just downloaded the newest version, and its license is now restriced to only 1 demo account and 1 real account. so i think i cannot use the EA on more than 1 demo (and real) account.
and so before activating the license for real account, i must decide on which broker i will play. wrong picking, i have to buy again.
assumption again (dear admin, cmiiw) :
as long as you use the same account number (that already activated), you can use the same key license even if you changing pc’s/laptop/vps.

No worries. Yes that is correct, the latest version (v20) is locked to 1 live and 1 demo account only! This has become quite an unpopular policy from what I can sense based on the discussions in the forum that I mentioned in the comment above this one.
They will allow you to change your broker as long as you provide them with proof. Realistically though I suggest you be VERY careful in choosing your live broker.
As for your last questions, I’m not so sure. That issue is hotly debated in the forum. I’m waiting for an official response from one of the FAPTurbo developers…gotta catch him one time when he’s available on MSN Messenger.

i’ve just made an experiment to false the assumtion, and my worry is gone. i put this activated-EA on another PC, surely using the same broker and the same demo account number, and the result: the same key is functioning. no errors on EA (no errors pop up), and everything normal.
thanks God. one thing left: i must make it sure that it is really working (taking trades). tomorrow i will post the result of the EA.
ic ic. so we could change brokers as long as we give them proof about the bad performance of the EA? okay. fair enough. hehe.
i also emailed them this morning to ask about these assumtions, and no response yet. i am sure it is just because our time zone difference (i am at gmt+7).

I just had a chat with one of the developers and he has confirmed that fapturbo will work on ONE account only but is NOT tied down to only 1 computer, so you can use it on any computer, vps, etc that you want.
As for the forum, yeah there are a TON of threads there, and the forum is growing like crazy. When/if you get the chance register and join in on the fun :)

my EA took 3 trades last night, all in profit also. there are 2 ongoing transactions still, and it should be going positive too.
i got newsletter from fapturbo said that version 22 in available. then we should update ours. Right? :)
yeah, it is stated explicitly that one account is not tied down to only 1 pc and from now on license key is stored in member area (we wont lose it!).
that is all. happy trading. i please to share experiences using fapturbo here. i wish everyone had the opportunity to live with it.

Yes, I suggest updating. I still think it would be best to copy the key in a text file and encrypt it and back it up somewhere safe though.

It may surprise you to know that I’m using the default settings…my opinion is that this EA is profitable right “out of the box” sort of speak.

it is weird. i’ve been updating to version 22 and no trades is taken. it is because of the market, or the EA? i have no errors popping out about activations. it is all alright. just the 1 bothers me, the EA don’t take any trades so far. hiks.

My God. i just upgrade the EA to version 23 and when i put my demo account key license, the EA rejected it and said, “Your copy is not activated. Please activate your copy”.
But the site said that the key can be used as long as we use the same account. but the fact said vice versa.
Arrgh. Does anyone experience this also? i am dead meat. How can i solve this?

just make sure you have proper settings..especially important is having a proper GMT settings.

dear Alan, are your scalper_MM setting is true? if it is, i guess your scalper_lots is 0.0?
perhaps if i reduce the LRR, it can trade more than 3 trades? hows your opinion? thx in advance.

Alan. Someone wrote this idea in the forum, i suppose(?) i can re-write it here, hehe:
As we know some brokers are fighting against FAPT Scalper so people are changing the accounts. So there should be option in FAPT member area that you can use FAPT on one account only but you can change it as many times as you wish.

That’s already the case since they implemented the whole 1 live account only policy. You can change your broker, it’s just that you have to give them proof that you closed your previous one and they will give you a new key.

18th dec, i got 5 trades, 1 loss, 4 wins.
the setting trade on friday also turned on. i know it is forbidden by mike and friends at fapturbo, but just wonder how the EA will respons on friday. fyi, on 19th dec (today) the EA taken 3 trades and all wins. there are 3 more trades that are still on progress. i’ll post the result as soon as the EA closes them.
about eur/chf, hm.. i am the same like you. i had 1 loss at 18dec on eur/chf (6pips). but on my other demo account, i had 1 win on eur/chf (6pips also) at the same day. how can this possibly happens? is it because of the differences of the zone?

i try this EA on 3 demo account, and perhaps i started realize the better place for the EA could be.
i got 3 ongoing trades and all are negative right now. i am playing 0.1 lot. perhaps if i played this scenario on only 100$ live account, i am dead meat.

oh yeah 0.10 on a standard account would be a BAD idea. 0.10 on a mini with $100 only in your account also bad idea…0.02 - 0.03 on a mini = probably ok.
What trades do you have ongoing, on what pairs, and with which broker? Did you make sure you set the GMT properly? Also DO NOT enable the trade on friday variable! AND DO NOT disable the “SimpleHeightFilter” !!

i got 1 lesson learned, that always disable trade on friday variable. i indeed got 4 consecutive wins today, but my 2 ongoing trade right now show 100pips drawdown, and if the EA close it, my 4 consecutive wins mean nothing. arrrgghhh!

sell on gbp/chf, -40 pips
i use demo account on itfx trader. my GMT should be 0 filled, but i forget to set it to 0. it was filled by 1 when the EA took the trade. yeah2, my foolish.. :|

given the wrong gmt setting it is my opinion that those trades are invalid..ie they weren’t taken during the correct trading session that fapturbo normally trades…
hope they end up in profit, but I would not count on it..

not this time i guess. in the end, my 2 ongoing trades are closed minus. total is 21 pips loss. overall performance on both yesterday and today still positive, but i took this as an experience.
turn off the trade on friday settings. less profit perhaps (losing 1 trade day), but consider the positive effect: you will have your heart healthier. lol.

You don’t losing anything if you turn off trade on friday as the most broker don’t work at that time (most of them close around 10pm GMT).
Normal scalping times are from 9pm GMT each night Monday to Thursday. Trading usually finishes by around 2am each morning although some open trades may last longer.

i forgot to tell you, when my 2 trade booked 21 pips minus, at 9 pm the EA then took 3 trades (1 on eur/gbp, 2 on gbp/chf) and booked 67 pips. :)

Hi Admin…I’m new to this forum and have been demo trading for over 4 weeks. After reading most posts..I’ve come across some important information that I’ve felt VALUABLE and now use in my demo account. For those that dont know…Demo accounts are only restricted by the number of broker accounts. A new demo account can be built with each new broker. Deciding on a broker for demo use is relatively harmless assuming the spread does not exceed FAPTURBO maximum 5 point spread. Otherwise FAPTURBO won’t launch any new trades because of the 5+ spread restriction. It appears to me that, before going with a LIVE account that, 3 major factors have to be in place and SOLID.
In Order : Correct settings with respect to investment amount.
: Amount of Real Investment.
: Broker used.
Broker used requires a great amount of research before a live account can be considered.This step cannot be taken lightly. It is the most important step to consider before launching a LIVE account.
WARNING : Your settings could be absolutely perfect but, without a trusted broker could bring you to your knees.
I would like to ask ADMIN , If he could generate subject headings within this community ( FORUM ) to better ask and answer related subjects.
Such as : NEWBIES / SET-UP
: SETTINGS LONG
: SETTINGS SHORT
: SUGGESTED BROKERS
and so on.
I hope I have injected some helpful Information.
Please respond with your opinion. All advice is PRICELESS.

You’re absolutely right Colonelx. Without a trustworthy broker with low spreads fapturbo does not perform so well.
As for the forum suggestion, well I don’t think it makes sense to setup separate sections for “long” and “short” settings - after all the EA was meant to be used in both directions, and besides there are no special long or short settings.
As for suggested brokers, well there is a section where people can discuss brokers here:

It is but I wonder how long it will keep up. The past week or so fapt has been having a rought time with the long term strategy - at current it is holding on to a few short positions that I’m not so sure about. All were taken in the 1.27xx range.

can you please please please help me, I bought fapturbo 3months ago and it’s not making 90 ish % of profit as they said. I tried fapturbo on a demo account and it’s not really working out for me.
I’m a divorcee of 2 kids from spain and i’m working hard as a waitress in a restaurant for the future of my children.
Can you please provide me the proper settings for a live account of 300 euros.

Hi Giulietta.
My recommendation is to NOT trade FapTurbo in long term strategy mode (M1 EUR/USD). Stick with the scalper only on the following pairs: eur/gbp, eur/chf, gbp/chf (no usd/cad)
use the default settings with a lotriskreductor of 5 (that’s 5% of your account - do not risk more)
Also what broker do you use? This by far is the biggest determining factor in fapturbo scalper performance. For example I test fapturbo on an InterbankFX account and I miss many trades because IBFX’s spreads are high on the pairs fapturbo uses to do its scalping.
Also be on the lookout as recently many brokers have banned the use of scalpers such as fapturbo. So once again I want to ask you what broker do you use and what spreads do they have for eur/gbp, eur/chf, gbp/chf, and usd/cad?
