Hello dear ClickBank affiliates. I bring you good news. ClickBank is now offering their own text ads system called “HopAds”. The system is very similar to AdSense ads except the ads aren’t contextualized and of course they’ll display ClickBank products. I think this product is long overdue. I have been using something similar to this for a long long time but none of the existing systems that I’ve tried have been perfect. My main gripe has been the poor description. What’s cool about ClickBank’s HopAds system is that ad descriptions will be provided by the product vendor themselves, so it will be far more relevant and useful as compared to existing systems which take the first few words of the clickbank product’s promo page. I don’t know about you but I’m ditching my current ClickBank ads system and moving to ClickBank’s HopAds.
Kudos to the folks at ClickBank for fullfilling a longtime wish of no doubt many affiliate marketers.
Here is a copy of ClickBank’s news release:
“2009-02-11
ClickBank is excited to announce the ClickBank HopAds Builder, a powerful new way for affiliates to promote ClickBank products. The HopAds Builder allows affiliates who own Web sites or blogs to easily create fully customizable ad boxes. This tool allows affiliates to customize both the look and content of ads to match their site.
The HopAds Builder is entirely free to use, and HopAds pay out the same affiliate commissions as Hoplinks created through the Marketplace. HopAds use ad text created by ClickBank publishers to appeal directly to consumers, and all ads are screened by ClickBank for content and quality.”
