Greetings everyone. Today I am going to briefly review a new affiliate program offered by an online computer store called NCIX. This review is going to be mainly targeting Canadians. The reason I’m saying this is that although NCIX has an online store for customer located in the United States, as far as I can tell there is no “affiliate” link on their American site, so I guess it is safe to assume that the affiliate program is not available on this site. As you may or may not know NCIX has built a reputation of being one great online computer shop. Its major competitor would be Tigerdirect. I’ve used both and I think both provide great service and excellent prices. Just a few hours ago I purchased a 2.0 GB USD Flash Drive from NCIX for $17.99 CAD! I am talking about a Corsair drive too, not one of those el cheapo ones. So I would say that NCIX has great deals.
NCIX rewards you with 1% commission on every sale and 8 cents per qualified click-through. I know that may not sound like much at first, but it’s not so bad for essentially doing nothing other than just promoting. They have banners of a wide variety of sizes and some neat deals scripts (just like Amazon.com).
The commission rate may be small, but I’m sure there must be some explanation for this besides just stinginess on the part of NCIX. My guess is that it has to do with the cut-throat nature of the online computer store business. They are probably operating on a tight profit margin and can’t afford to give us affiliate more – I don’t know. In either case, NCIX’s affiliate program just might provide you with a good supplement to your Amazon.com affiliate earnings.
