Hello dear readers. You may be interested in knowing that PayPal is celebrating its 10’th year anniversary this year. It’s almost quite hard to believe that ten years ago PayPal was just a dream in the minds of three men back in 1998 (by Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek). Love it or hate it, you’ve got to admit that PayPal has profoundly transformed online commerce. Last I checked PayPal still has the lion’s share of the payment processor market. Other competitors (like AlertPay for example) have risen to challenge PayPal position, but for the most part PayPal still is #1 – who knows how long they’ll hold that position though.
To celebrate this anniversary the folks at PayPal have built a website which “looks back at PayPal after ten years on the Internet” and you can find it over here:
