Hmm, I don’t know about you but I’m having a REALLY hard time believing the text in the image below. I just received this e-mail that you see quoted below from Andreas Kirchberg of Forex Killer fame. Typically I receive e-mail from him since I own the Forex Autopilot product and apparently his buddy Marcus Leary gave away my e-mail address (how nice of him). For the most part these e-mail are your average commercial e-mail promoting various forex products. So far most have been average and did not make extravagant claims - until now! I don’t know too much about this product other than that it’s in the pre-launch phase. Once it gets released I’ll no doubt find out more. Who knows, maybe I’ll be tempted into buying it and do the usual thing that I do, which is demo forward/back test it and report my findings here.
For now all that is there on that page is just a video. I don’t know exactly when it will be released but if the “video is going to be online for just a few more hours” line is correct, then I assume it probably will be soon made available to the public.
Anyways, if some of you buy it when it gets released I’d really appreciate it if you let me know what you think about it. Drop me a message here on this post or visit The MoneyGuru Forum and start a thread in the forex section.

I will believe it when I test it, not buying it :-D
Maybe they have only made a test in mt4 to show the results over some past years, but that´s not a realiable result. The result must be trading day by day, those tests are always worthless. Have they traded day by day with this EA all these years?… I don´t think so.
And I don´t believe in someone telling me that he has a forex method or EA gaining the 100% of trades. It´s a nonsense and only marketing to sell the program. We must be happy with our negative trades, the most important is gaining more than losing. You can gain 90% of your trades and only lose 10% and you are losing a lot of money or even all your account.
Only my thoughts.

Yes Jose you’re definitely right. I very much doubt that claim is based on real trading. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what the product really claims on its website once it gets released, but judging by the e-mail above I get the impression that it’s a scalper type EA, hence the “the robot only cares about small price swings…”
lol yeah Jose, one can definitely win 90% of all trades and yet still end up with a margin call if one does not apply proper money management techniques.

Oh btw, I forgot to mention that if you watch the video at one point they show what to me looks like a backtest. The balance graph goes up and up and up without any downwards or sideways movements. It really does look like some major curve-fitting!

Ah I see. You’re one of those panicky traders that long the the YEN ;)…tisk tisk..kidding. I’m out of the market altogether, except with EAs of course but those are set at low low risk revels.
Jose, have you thought about trading gold or other precious metals? I’m pretty sure MBTrading has the facilities for this.

Ah, ok. YEah, GBP/JPY has been an excellent diver these last few weeks. I reminisce about those days when it was at 251.00 oh my how much of a genius I would’ve felt had I shorted it at that level and remained in the trade until today.

It’s going ok, but I did take a hit (volatility) these past few days. Bruce I should mention that I’m not using the latest Roboteer version but a precursor to Roboteer called RangeTrader.
If you wish to find out how other people are doing with Roboteer I’d recommend you visit a forum that I happen to run which is dedicated to this product.

There you will find users of both rangetrader (such as myself) and roboteer. You’ll also find performance statements and the like.
I may eventually upgrade to roboteer later on once I’m convinced that it performs better than my rangetrader robot. What attracts me to roboteer is the auto-optimization subscription service. With that I will no longer have to spend countless hours adjusting my settings to current market conditions by extensive backtesting. Peter, the author of forex roboteer will be doing that for me - for a fee of course, but then again there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Thanks Alan I will follow up. Cant seem to get a response from Peter Parsons tho.Oh well maybe hes too busy trading.Do you ever hear from him? The optomization service is around $40 But would be well worth it Im sure.

Peter is a bit slow with the e-mail. You gotta keep in mind that he’s a one man team. Plus he’s got a LOT of clients and I bet he gets swamped with e-mails daily.

Hi Alan thanks for that.Im sticking with Robot4x for now as its working fine for me and suits my style for now.Would appear there are a few issues with Roboteer and the settingup side of things at this stage so will observe for a while but still interested.Yes he did reply said he gets 450 queries a day then asked me what i wanted….funny it was on the email mmmm he must be busy!! Anyway I will keep watching this space for any further comments.

Yes you’re right. Some people have reported some problems with the EA. I hope Peter works out all the bugs as I believe the EA hold great promise.
I suggest you keep an eye on the forum, and be on the lookout for other members’ performance statements.

Hi Alan hows it all going. I havent bothered to purchase any other product the hype gets tooo much and im over it.I do enjoy reading traders comments tho.Im still with the Robot 4x and find it very easy to use and suits me. Bit hard to get a response at times but the owner eventually gets back. The auto side is straight forward and easy to follow.Stick to the rules and its kind to you most of the time. I will keep reading your postings they are good.
