Greetings fellow forex traders. I just found out that there is a new forex trading course called Forex Avenger. I first heard about it from one of Mark McRae (of Sure-Fire Forex fame). I own some of Mark’s products and I feel comfortable saying that he knows what he’s talking about. Mark is a forex mentor and system designer, and as such he has many students on board. Well, it seems his mentoring payed off as one of his students developed a new and successful trading system. This apparently is NOT an automated trading system – i.e it is not an EA (expert advisor). It is though a 100% mechanical trading system, which seems to be the hot commodity everyone is looking for in the forex world.
Here is what Mark McRae has to say:
It [Forex Avenger] was invented by one of my students and he has been
trading one of my accounts with $50,000 in it. The
results have been amazing.
Forex Avenger details:
There are two systems, one for day trading and one for end of day trading. It should interest both full-time traders and people with full-time jobs.
The course is made up of a pdf of 77 pages and over 20 videos.
The product makes a claim of having an accuracy level 82.69% If this is the case that is damn near impressive.
One thing that did surprise me is that the sales page contains a screenshot of a live FXCM account – account number and all. If I had some way of verifying that the account belogn to Mark McRae I would, but unfortunately I do not. I’ll assume for now that the screenshot is genuine. Check it out for yourself:

I was looking over the preliminary sales page (preliminary because the product is still in the pre-launch stage) and I’m kind of reminded of another forex product that I own called “Dean Saunders’s 10 Minute Forex Wealth Builder.” The reason I’m saying that is that both systems are trend following systems, and my guess is that like Dean Saunders’s system the Forex Avenger probably trades on the daily chart.
If I get around to it I may buy this and give it a whirl on a demo account. I’ve got a lot on my plate so far as I’m testing 5 forex trading systems at once, but I’ll see if I can make some room for this one too.
If I find out more about this system I’ll post it here and on my forex blog as well. Until then though curious traders can checkout the preliminary sales page for more details. Like I said earlier the product is still in the pre-launch stage, but apparently the buy button on the sales page works even though the launch is supposed to take place on Tues Oct 28′th.
That’s it for now. Many pips to you all!
Cheers,
Alan
UPDATE: My apologies folks. It seems they took down the preliminary sales page that I was looking at. The product officially launches in 4 days – Oc 28 2008 – so if you’re curious you can check it out then.

I have traded the system on demo and have started using it on live account. So far (its only been a week since I purchased the system) I am impressed so far. I traded EUR/USD on the 1 HR and Daily chart and both worked well. The profitable trades ( traded 15 times with it) exceeded 80% as they claim. Looks very good, time will tell. Certainly better than any EA which is a complete waste of money and you are destined to separate yourself from your trading capital if you use any of them.

:) that is definitely good news for us all who own this system. I’ve got it setup but due to time constrains I haven’t had a chance to test it out yet. I did go through some of the videos. I like that it’s a simple system which doesn’t require too many indicators and any other fancy techniques.
Let’s hope for the best, and please keep me posted on your performance Mark. I would really appreciate it :)
