Hmm, I never thought they’d do this, but apparently the people behind FapTurbo are going to increase the price for their product from $97 to $149.95 this coming Monday (Dec 01, 2008). I found out about this from an e-mail sent by one of their affiliates. Here is a copy of the e-mail:

hello Alan

We just got word from the developers that in favor of the
the people that sent in mails opting against the monthly
recurring price of usd 399 they are going for a fixed one
time payment of usd 149,95 starting on Monday December 1st.

At the risk of sounding as if I’m “promoting” this EA, those of you that wish to give it a try would be wise to get a copy BEFORE they increase the price. In my opinion $149 is a bit too much to ask for an EA that is yet unproven by a third party. Yes I know the developers have a supposed live account statement, but personally I don’t trust it until I see this performance on my own account. But anyways, $97 is is more or less what I would pay for this EA. OK, enough of my grumbling about the price increase.
