Full Tilt Poker Affiliate Program is Back!

Full Tilt Poker Logo

Fellow affiliates! I have some good news. The Full Tilt Poker affiliate program is back! After being shutdown for a while due to running into some “difficulties” with the authorities and subsequently being bought by PokerStars their now back online. This also means that they’re re-opened their affiliate program. Since they’re under new management I feel a lot more comfortable telling you about this then if they were being managed by the same people. I have already signed up for their affiliate program and I will soon start promoting them.

If you’ve read my blog in the past you would know that I’ve had success with their affiliate program and I hope to resume that success. It sucks though that I lost all my previous referrals and no doubt some of you are in the same position as me. Ohwell, such is life.

So, if you are interested in signing up here is what you need to do:

Step 1: Click here to go to the Full Tilt Poker website.

Step 2: Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on the “Full Tilt Poker Partners” link

Step 3: There should be instructions on that page as to what you need to do next.

If you run into any issues feel free to leave a comment here and I will try my best to help you.

Good luck! I hope you make tons of money!

Freelancer.com acquires vWorker

Hi everyone. I’ve got some news to share with you regarding another acquisition by the popular freelancing site Freelance.com According to the news release (below) they’ve just bought another competitor. This is good news for all of us internet entrepreneurs as it gives us an even bigger market of coding talent to dip into. Inversely it means an even bigger market for coders to offer their services to.

I encourage you my dear reader to start a project on Freelancer.com today. Start something. The road to internet entrepreneurship is not easy to follow but it is worth it in the end. I personally wish you success, and if you need advice or a helpful and supporting word I’m always available. You can find my contact info in the About section of this blog.

For those of you who are interested here is the official news release:

Freelancer.com is proud to announce that we have just acquired vWorker!

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, vWorker has over 2.5 million enterprise and professional users from around the world, who have been paid over US$139 million through the site from 1.3 million projects.

Founded by Ian Ippolito in 2001 originally as RentACoder.com, the marketplace was one of the earliest companies of its kind in the world. It rapidly developed an exceptional reputation for attracting quality programmers and grew at an astonishing pace. From 2007 to 2010 RentACoder.com was named by Inc. magazine as one of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in the USA. In 2010, Entrepreneur Magazine called RentACoder “one of the hundred smartest, most innovative, hands-down brilliant companies on our radar”.

Originally focusing on programming and IT-based work, in 2010 the site expanded to include a wide selection of work categories including graphic design, writing and more. To reflect this expansion, the company changed its name to vWorker – short for “virtual worker”.

Over the next few days, we will be migrating vWorker users onto Freelancer.com. This is great news for our existing users as it makes the world’s largest marketplace even stronger with over 6.6 million professionals! This means more employers, more freelancers, and more opportunities. Current employers will see greater variety and competition among freelancers in the marketplace, while current freelancers will see a marked increase in the amount of work available on the site.

To celebrate this milestone for the Freelancer community we’d like to offer you:

Freelancer.com Acquires Scriptlance

freelancer logo

Hi everyone. I’ve got some news to share with you. Freelancer.com has acquired Scriptlance. I used Scriptlance quite a few times and they had a great platform in place. I can’t say that I’ve used Freelancer.com for any projects yet, but I did browse around their site and I do like their interface. I’ve referred a few developers and users to their site as well and so far nobody has contacted me saying that they were not satisfied with their experience, so I think it should be pretty safe to use Freelancer.

This acquisition means that the previous Scriptlance page will be taken offline and all existing Scriptlance Clients and Coders (developers) will be imported into the Freelancer.com site.

What this means for all you previous Scriptlance affiliates is that you’ll have to signup for an affiliate account with Freelancer.com now and change over your links. A bit of a pain in the backside but *shrug* what can you do, that’s life sometimes.

Good luck to you all,

Alan out

RegNow Affiliate Program

digital river regnow logo

Hi everyone. It’s been a long time since I blogged about a new affiliate program. I’ve also been extremely busy lately so unfortunately I haven’t had much time to dedicate to this blog and to any online marketing. But I am lucky that this weekend I’ve got a lot of spare time, so I decided to look for new affiliate marketplaces. Luckily I ran across a new one (for me at least) called RegNow.

How I found about it is quite simple really. I was checking out some forex robot trading products (I’m into forex as well) and I noticed that quite a few of these products are being sold through RegNow. So I immediately loaded RegNow’s website and found out that they’re pretty much like ClickBank, but with lower fees for sellers. They have an affiliate marketplace where you can promote various products. At the moment I am mostly interested in forex related products, but there are tons of other products you can promote.

The cool thing with RegNow is that they do not place any selling price limit on vendors, so for me this is a good thing as I can promote higher priced forex products which equals higher affiliate commissions.

The checkout pages seem very professional, and they offer a lot of different and convenient payment methods for consumers. The affiliate control panel is not as clean as I’d hoped but I (and I’m sure you too) got adjusted to it after a while.

I’m going to give it a fair try and see how it goes. I’ll report my success or failure over here on this blog as usual.

Anyways, if you’re an affiliate marketer looking for new products to promote or are a ClickBank refugee I suggest you give RegNow a try.

Good luck! I hope you make tons of commissions!

My Forex VPS Affiliate Program

Hi there!

A week or so back I made a post announcing to the world my intentions to start my own Forex VPS company (see this link) and the response has been great so far. However there is still room for maybe 50 or so interested clients. This is where I am going to need your help. The way I thought it would be best to ask for help is to allow people to become affiliates of this forex vps venture. No doubt you can see how this would be a win-win situation.

If you happen to have a forex related website or mailing list you can earn a stable monthly income just by sending out an e-mail or making a blog/website post.

First off I would recommend that you checkout this link to learn the details of the forex vps solution.

Now that you know what it’s all about and the necessary details I bet you can’t wait to join the affiliate program. Well before you get to that part let’s discuss the all important factor of  what and how much you get out of it. I was thinking a reasonable commission to offer would be 25% of the company’s profits. I am planning on raising that commission level later on as efficiencies of scale lower my overall infrastructure costs, but for now 25% is what I can offer you for your help.

Factoring in the expected infrastructure costs for the first year I’ve calculated that 25% of the profit per customer comes out to $3 /month per customer for YOU. I’ve dome some research into it and this is roughly what most of the other forex vps companies pay their affiliates.

As I mentioned in the post where I introduced this vps solution, at the moment I do not have a website yet that you can refer traders to because there is a minimum number of interested traders that I need to have on board and I haven’t reached that goal yet. So until that goal gets met I’m afraid I’m going to have to set this affiliate program in a bit of “ghetto” way. The wayt I’ve done it with the two affiliates that have joined me is like this:

1) I setup a dedicated aweber mailing list for each affiliate. Then the affiliate can pass on the link to the mailing list join form to their clients/viewers.

2) The affiliates then send out a e-mail blast / website post asking their viewers/mailing list members whether they’d be interested in signing up for the forex vps solution once it goes live.

3) Traders they refer will continue to sign-up for the special mailing list I setup each affiliate.

Once my forex vps solution goes live I am going to manually move all the clients that signed-up for a particular affiliate’s mailing list into that affiliate’s dedicated affiliate account.

This is only a TEMPORARY solution/method to join my affiliate program. Later on once I have the entire infrastructure up and running I’ll have a formal affiliate program with referral links and all that good stuff.

So if you’re interested in joining my forex vps affiliate program all you have to do is fire off an e-mail to alan [-at-] alansforexblog.com (replace the -at- with the @ symbol) and let me know.

Thanks for your attention!

I hope to have you on board as an affiliate!

Cheers,

Alan
