Greetings dear visitors and potential Forex traders. You may have glanced at my two previous posts (first one here and the other here) regarding the Forex Avenger trading system. I just quickly checked a few minutes ago and it looks as if the product is finally available for purchase. The website is live and ready.
As for the system itself I’ve heard mixed feeling from people who saw the video by Mark McRae posted on the site before the launch. My impression is that Mark is not BS’ing and that the $50K account is real. But I must honestly say that the video on its sales page is a load of hype. I never liked it when promoters tell me stuff like “the industry tried to keep him quiet, but he couldn’t be bought” C’mon! I guess this is what sells, but for me it’s a big turn off.
As for how well this system will perform in the long term, I obviously cannot tell. On the face of things I believe it’s worth a try as it’s the only way to know for sure. One thing that this system has going for it is that it’s got the full support of a very well known forex mentor, Mark McRae from Sure-Fire Forex fame (popular introduction to forex product & trading course).

Now before you dive in to the product’s homepage, stop for a minute to get a brief idea of what this product is and is not.
1) It IS a totally mechanical forex trading system
2) It is NOT an expert advisor or otherwise known as a “forex robot”
3) It DOES require MANUAL trading on your part
4) It DOES require work on your part - not for lazy folks
5) The author says the rules are simple to follow though, so it’s good to know this isn’t one of those trading systems that makes you use a gazillion indicators or something crazy like that
Now that you’ve got those 5 important point in mind feel free to hop on to the Forex Avenger homepage and see what more you can learn. If you decide to purchase it remember you’ve got 56 days to take it “for a spin” sort of speak. If you find it junk, get your money back and move on. Unfortunately this is the only way to know if the product delivers what it promises. I may join you on the buying frenzy, I dunno for sure at this point. It’s been a while since I purchased a manual trading system. Lately I’ve been in a “forex robot” craze, but hopefully I will snap out of it sometime soon.

Hi Alan,
I read that you are a forex robot craze.

Hi Frankie. Yes, that’s correct, I’m very much involved in testing automated trading systems (aka EAs or forex robots) and I’ve ran across quite a few, some good some bad. I can definitely tell you which ones I use and which ones to avoid.
I’ve had some good success with one called Forex Autopilot ( http://www.forexautopilot.ca )

I also use RangeTrader ( http://www.rangetrader.net ) but this one is no longer supported by the author. The new brother to rangetrader is called Forex Roboteer. The system is far more advanced though. The robot uses 3 trading systems operating at the same time. The robot also comes with an optional subscription service that ensures that your robot always has optimized settings for the current market conditions. These settings are automatically downloaded by the robot from the author’s server.

I’d suggest you join a forum I’ve setup which is dedicated to rangetrader and roboteer. Browse around see what performance others have been having with roboteer before you investigate further.
